Top 10 Ancient Guru Monks of Thailand

Festival & Tournament of Knowledge & Meditative Powers - Nakon Pathom - B.E. 2452 (C.E. 1909)

In B.E. 2452 (C.E. 1909), the supreme Patriarch Somdej Phra Sangharaj Kay of Wat Bowon (Head Temple in Thailand) issued a invitation to every temple in every province to send monk representatives with high levels of attainment in Wichayaakom (occult knowledge) & Palangjit (meditative powers) to participate in a festival to exchange knowledge and participate in a demonstration and tournament  of supernatural and mental powers. The response was overwhelming with hundreds of monks from every province attending. It was held at Wat Phra Pathom Chedi for a period of three days & three nights.

The toughest competition was when monks had to use telekinesis to move a carpenter's plane from a starting point to a designated point & then move it back to the starting point. Many were able to move it from the starting point to the designated point but only ten were able to move it back to the starting point.
